It began as an experiment for founder Tabb Firchau.

He needed to sell a house but couldn't get the right angle for a photo. So he did what any innovative thinker would do: he strapped a disposable camera to a cheap model plane. Maybe one of the shots would turn out. It did. Not only did the property sell fast, but everyone wanted an aerial photo. AerialPan has come a long way since.

Today, we "strap" the best cameras on the market to some of the most sophisticated remote control vehicles around. Our systems carry GPS navigation and cutting edge stabilization technology. Our post-production studio features carefully calibrated editing systems. Our pilot, photographer, and designers have years of experience. We travel nationally and internationally to meet our clients' needs.

And thanks to an insatiable appetite for innovation, we keep building lighter and stronger helicopters, refining our post-production techniques, and researching the latest imaging technology. Our need to be the best in the business means our clients receive the finest aerial images on the market today.

Tabb Firchau, Founder In 2003, Tabb Firchau started Northwest Aerial Photography, which would later become AerialPan Imaging. After studying economics at the University of Washington, Tabb worked in real estate and development. When he recognized a need for aerial marketing in that industry, he combined his work with his personal interests. As founder of AerialPan, Tabb wears many hats – photographer, engineer, pilot, and visionary. His personal love for photography and flying, together with his knack for innovation, drive the growth of AerialPan.

Bogdan Albu, Client Relations Bogdan Albu joined AerialPan in 2004. Though he provides support in multiple arenas, his primary focus is driving sales and managing client relations. Bogdan's experience includes work in commercial real estate and study at Duke University. At Duke, he studied Economics and Art, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
